Just because

I made these cards a while back and thought they were so cute I just had to share them. Both these cards are made using Lawn Fawn stamps. I was feeling in the mood to make some winter cards (maybe because as it gets hotter the more I long for winter) so I busted out my winter stamps and got to work.

Well I hope you enjoyed and have a crafty wednesday!

SRM Challenge: Celebrations

Hello everyone!! Its the first SRM challenge and I am so excited to see all the beautiful projects everyone submits. This months challenge is celebrations. I think this is a perfect first challenge because their are so many different options for you to choose from. My brother-in-law and his wife are pregnant and are having a girl! I decide this challenge was the perfect opportunity to make their baby shower card.

I used and SRM sentiment, doilies and strawberry twine.
Hope you play along and good luck to everyone!
Make sure to check out what the rest of the design team has created

Dress Up!

Hello everyone! I decided to play along with Fusion because I love their inspiration this week. You can find the challenge here. I LOVE dress forms and it just so happens that I have a beautiful stamp of one (for some reason I had never used it so this challenge gave me a good reason to pull it out).
Here is this weeks inspiration

and here is my card

The paper is a Kaiser Craftt line( not sure which one)
The dress form and ruler are part of the same stamp set by The Girls' Paperie
The sentiment, doily and and twine are SRM
The buttons are Bo Bunny

Thanks for stopping by!

DD #91

Hello all. I decided to have some fun and join another challenge this week. Today I am playing along with Dynamic Duos. So here is their color combo for the week

and here is my card
supplies:
paper-October Afternoon
SRM sentiment & doily
Studio 490 embossing paste
Heidi Swapp stencil
Well I got some embossing paste a couple weeks ago and have been itching to play with it. This is the first time I have ever used the paste and really love the way it turned out. Since this was the first time I had used the paste I messed up on a few parts of the card but nothing to noticeable. It drys a little transparent but that's probably because I didn't put a very thick  layer on. I am going to make a few more cards using the embossing paste to share with everyone next week and hopefully have some tips/tricks for using it.
Till next time!

Fusion #4

Hello all my crafty friends. Well its been a while since I posted anything so I thought I would play along with a challenge this week. Last week a friend of mine really helped my out and I wanted to make her a thank you card so this challenge was a perfect opportunity to make her card.
So here is the inspiration for the card challenge

and here is my card
I used October Afternoon's 9 to 5 collection, Martha Stewart butterflies and an SRM sentiment.
Hope you enjoyed

Challenge Time

Hello all my crafty friends! Well its been a while since I shared anything you with you so I decided to do a card challenge. Today I am joining the Curtain Call challenge and you can also play along here. I always have a lot of fun with the Curtain Call challenges. They give you a picture and you create your project using the picture as your inspiration. So here is the picture they give you

And here is my card
I tried to keep it pretty simple. I loved the red and kraft together in the inspiration picture so I wanted to bring that element into my card. The frame is a Maya Road product, sentiment/twine is SRM and the heart is Bella Blvd.
I hope you enjoyed my card and have a wonderful day
